Blackbeard – Not only his expression but also the sense of attiring was in favor of his frightening appearance. He was a tall man with long beard and horrific look, add to this his dressing style made him more petrifying. John Rackham – As he was always dressed in calico cotton he was also known as Calico Jack. He was associated with two famous of women pirate of history Mary Read and Anne bonny who were cross dressers and famous for bright clothes. A loose pirate shirt particularly in brown or black color and baggy pant forms his main attire apart from this a waist length coat and tricorn hat completed his look. The look of Captain Jack Sparrow is inspired from John Rackham’s amazing character. Even the name of ship ‘Black Pearl’ of Captain Jack Sparrow was copied from the first ship of John Rackham.
